纽约时装周 2009春夏男裝－William Rast

先說這個牌子的壓軸演出是Justin Timberlake和他的死黨兼音樂夥伴Trace Ayala，你應該不用想像就能知道William Rast這個牌子動用了時裝工業中多麼巨大的資源（是的，就是話題與人氣）了吧！不過Timberlake在眾人驚喜的簇擁和歡呼中謹慎的說道：「我只是來把最真實的我呈現給大家。」這句話更像是讚美William Rast就是他平常也會穿的衣服，當然，是系列中的男裝。不過，就算是William Rast的女裝，恐怕也是這般帥性不羈與帶有那麼一點點男孩子氣。這個鄉村來的女孩，穿上彩色呢格襯衫和短靴也相當時髦，在都會裡格外搶眼。

丹寧的騎士夾克和背心裝飾著黃銅鉚釘細節相當復古，設計師Johan and Marcella Lindeberg所要呈現的風格，套用賈斯丁的話來說，就是「原汁原味的正宗美國態度」，如此強悍又性感。這個系列其實是在宣告一種混搭的精神與崇尚舒適休閒的態度，那些牛仔褲和寬鬆T恤與窄短皮夾克，可說在紐約街頭的角落隨處可見。因此用時尚來看這個品牌恐怕會太過嚴刻，如果說流不流行，他們又絕對夠格！

Preceding the New York debut of Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala’s label William Rast was a film made by Jonas Åkerlund that presented Timberlake and Erin Wasson as Badlands-style rebels. So it was perhaps best to parse everything that followed as a piece of celluloid—as in, clothes that would be worn by characters in a movie. It was easy to imagine that, in this movie, a damaged young Southerner (distressed denims, cowboy boots) was coming home from war (camo bomber, worn military shirts, khakis) to a Joe job (gas-jockey jacket and jeans) that he would try and escape by dressing up on Saturday night (western-style burgundy three-piece). Before the show, Timberlake and Ayala listed the things that constituted Americana for them: denims, boots, sunsets, driving fast down highways, and so on. Johan and Marcella Lindeberg, whom they've brought in for design assistance, clearly took that brief to heart. There was scarcely a redneck rebel-rock cliché that wasn't touched on. Whether it all belonged on a catwalk is immaterial to the boys and girls who’ll be drawn by the artful William Rast mythmaking.
